Cover nos 1400-1414. Designed by R Maunsell, the first locomotive underwent trials in 1917 by 1934 a total of 80 locomotives had been constructed. Finally withdrawn in 1967. A preserved example is available today.Features a whitemetal boiler/smokebox and a separate firebox, one piece cast footplate and whitemetal cast detail parts, etched cab, tender, chassis and valvegear.
