Designed by R. Maunsell and first introduced to service in 1927 Nos. E823-E837being built at Eastleigh' works, the locomotives worked freight, mixed traffic and passenger duties prior to the last of the class being withdrawn in 1966. Three examples of the class remain preserved today.Kit features a cast one-piece boiler and one-piece footplate, cast tender and etched chassis and valve-gear.
Needs Motor/gearbox and Wheelset to complete.
